Devashish at a Glance

Founded in 2002 and affiliated with the Gujarat Board (GSEB), Devashish has earned its fame and name in a very short span. Within a few years it has grown manifold in many areas.

Our academic achievements are supported by our board results. Since its inception Devashish has not scored a board result below 90%. For the past two consecutive years our students have been standing 7^th [Chirag Patel] and 5^th [Mansi Patel] in Ahmedabad Centre in Boards.

In sports the school students have achieved various medals in badminton, kabbadi, skating and karate.

Every year Devashish has a Mega Event. The entire vicinity around Devashish looks forward to the event. A brief of the events is given below.

Jhankar [2003] – The cultural festival had almost 1000 Devashishians and 4000 onlookers.

Halla-Gulla [2005] – The funfair brings memories of fun and frolic even today to the 7000 people who visited it

The Scholastic Expo [2006] – Gave practical exposure to academics with students show-casing a variety of Maths, Science, Sanskrit and Language displays.

Jhankar 2007- A Dance Festival [2007] – It was a huge event with more than 900 kids participating. We had to organize the show over two days to house all the parents and the supporting crowd.

Dandiya Dhamal [2008] – A huge venue was hired for the Devashishians to dance merrily on the Garba tunes. It was spread over two days keeping in mind the younger and older Devashishians.

Its strength has kept growing steadily and now Devashish houses an impressive 1800 students. Devashish also adds to its facilities every year. The Mind Lab, AV Room, the multi-media software, the computer room and the skating rink are few of such examples.

Devashish continues to march ahead on the road of progress but at every juncture it knows that it owes its every achievement to its parents, students and teachers. Devashish rests on those three pillars and harmony amongst them is the key to its success.
