I (princi mom) am really out dated!! I should have known what dress to kill means!!………….Good heavens!! What variety we can have in dressing was seen on this day!! I was indeed killed…….

Tapori Day / Back to School Day/Anti-corruption Day :
The Taporis (only on the out side…….with a wonderful within ) were found moving everywhere with all the Dadagiri until they came across Anna Hazares (from the lower classes) moving with confidence to crush all their Dadagiri.
The teachers in uniforms spreading a message of dignity in uniforms which brings along dignity in behavior was clearly noticed!!

Traditional Day:
Who says traditionality has gone…..Children of Devashish love Indianism to the core…..The traditional day celebration was once in a life time offer for all!! All the states of India on one ground……….Looked marvelous …….India indeed is diverse and beautiful!!

Twins Day

Devashishans celebrate twins day today. The beauty with which each child has tried to be a look alike of one other is mind blowing!! (sometimes 2 others as several triplets and quadruplets were also seen)

Four buses full of students made it to Shanku’s from 9 to 5 with a thrill which is still remembered!!The babies had to be hauled out of water as they refused to listen to the whistles which we blew almost emptying out our lungs ………..

Every teacher was presented short poems on themselves penned down by Leena Ma’am, with not great expertise but with great love indeed. Teachers were given lucky charms after a lot of careful selection made from the gift shop by hours together by Hiral ma’am and Leena ma’am. Thanks to the teachers for loving them!!
Our staff members only are not put to work for special occasion but people out at home also help!! Ask Hiral’s husband who ran for Khana for teachers.
Sree Laksmy ma’am was declared the Best Teacher by the management after a loooong scrutiny of her work for months together. Neha ma’am was chosen the favourite teachers second time in a row on student voting for emotional discrimination .
Last but not the least, A Rocking Performance of solo dances (21 of them , Huh!!) by our children crowned the day!!
Ooops!! How could we forget Bhandari Ma’am??? For penning the most beautiful lines for Leena ma’am and showing that she has a Harivansh Ray Bachchhan side to her too!!

The best of which was the Ornament making by clay!! ( here, ‘aata’ was used beautifully) Jwellery once made should be worn and who could be the better model, Jaya ma’am herself!!

Falguni ma’am with gloves , a huge tub with warm water, a magical packet of fabric colour and loads of hankies and marbles for what you would call a Tie and Dye project…….Falguni ma’am scribbled names of kids on the hankies, which disappeared after the dye……The best part was seeing ma’am convincing kids , “this is your hanky beta!!” and the beta nodding with reluctance!!

(not all of them!!) , the Nursery babies sobbed their hearts out and refused to go to the garden ………..one of them categorically telling Leena ma’am “ mein mummy ke saath garden chali jaungi “(how true……why didn’t we think of that???)………However, for those who went, the trip was evenful!!
The babies were found crawling looking for caterpillars , insects and definitely flowers and plants. They came back tired but with enough energy left to narrate the story of their trip to every person they met!!
