Gujarati medium primary section has welcomed 2012 in a very innovative way. Kids and teachers of the section dressed in different attire and celebrated days like Retro Day, Jeans Day, Mismatch Day, Red & Black Day, Professional Day etc etc. What a fun-filled week it was!! The Fancy Dress Comp.(KG Section-EM)

The Fancy Dress of the Nursery students was just mind blowing!! The babies simply wanted to flaunt their costumes & head gears & were least bothered about marking!!………Leena Ma’am-The Judge for the day was simply nobody for them. Hiral Ma’am made all the difference because she had ‘THE CAMERA’!!!……..They almost walked up to her nose saying ‘Photo pado…photo pado’…….The ‘Tomato’….. was a Tomato…..was a Tomato!!
Nursery Fancy Dress Comp.-29-12-10

30th December’10 saw the celebration of the fancy dress competition for Jr.KG……….The theme was ‘Nature’ & the behavior of the babies was’ NATURAL’!!……….That is Wild as ever!!……….You could see the butterfly slapping an admirer and admirer , the moon and sun walking together…..a jugle boy clad in tiger’s skin spreading a message of SAVE TIGER……………..in short it was very very sweet!!…..

Who says these kiddus are from Sr. KG???They looked like fresh,creative,IIM pass-outs!!……Just try pronouncing these- CHEMICAL FERTILIZER, PREGNANT, POLLUTION, VOLCANO, POLAR REGION….etc etc…….Difficult!! Isn’t it?? NOT for them…….
Every one was dumb founded by their performance!!….All fit to be ranked ONE!!

Visit to a garden (KG-EM)

The babies of the pre-primary section were taken to one of the Auda Gardens in Satellite (near Pakwan to be precise….Good heavens there are N number of Auda gardens!!)
They climbed up the bus and looked like ants crawling here and there in it………Gosh!! They’re really tiny!!
Did I say tiny??? Only in body!!…….They have energies that can surprise any giant in the galaxy!!………….We comfortably managed a traffic jam both at the time of departure and arrival with people more than glad to help us (except a gentleman with an Innova who did not seem to melt with the smile of the babies)……..
To sum it up the kids went to the garden to do all the masti….they do during the breaks for 2 long hours in the garden……..A little imp wanted to stay there for “3 din” where as most of the Nursery kids found their classrooms more attractive than the garden!!

Picnic to Snow Park-(GM- KG to 7)

After the English Medium, it was the turn of our Gujarati Med. to experience the chill of the Snow Park. The students and teachers reached school an hour before the scheduled time in the morning!! !!
There was fun right from the time kids creeped into the bus which had lots and lots of room for them……..…The nasta time, the aqua roller time, the boating time, the play zone time, The mini train journey…………. The funky car driving……..…… the basking in the sun time…………..to be precise the entire time was fun!!…………The biggest fun being the entry to the snow world …….… You could not tell a teacher from a student……………. Both were equally naughty and kiddish!! & why not ?…… In Ahmedabad’s 40 degree temperature they were playing in snow & feeling – 6 degree temperature……
In short, the picnic was rocking!!

Janmashtami Celebration- KG Section (EM)

The sweet Radhas and Kanhas of Devashish enjoyed a modern verson of Maakhan…..i.e. chocolates ….they don’t believe I destruction in any form so……the teachers turned the Matka upside down and let Chocolates rain down on them!! No Matki Foto Abhiyan done as we were skeptic about kids being hurt…….

Independence Day Celebration-GM Primary

15th August was celebrated with competition of “DESHBHAKTI SONGS” in Devashish. Children sang very nice songs and Dabhi Sir added “Sutrochar” to add “JOSH” in the students. The winners of the competition got nice prizes like Wrist Watches, Dictionaries, School Bags, Water Bags etc.
The KG Bachas made “TRIRANGA” on their chubby chicks to contribute to the Independence Day celebration.
