Devashish Gujarati Medium primary section has celebrated wonderful sports week with very new and innovative games!! Not only students but teachers also have enjoyed !! Fun filled sports week ended with the prize distribution to all the winners!!

Closing Ceremony of Sports Week (EM)

The closing ceremony of the Sports Week-2009-’10 was one of the most beautiful event of the year. Beautiful because of its simplicity, the fun-factor in it which was not lost though it was simple, the ambience of the venue and the jam packed audience. Beginning from the flag hoisting to the distribution of the medals everything was wonderful. Our dear Dipuji (the peon of the higher sec.section) unfurled the tri-color and addressed the audience with great confidence…… The pre-primary students did nothing except looking at the flying balloons, screaming and dancing with glee as though telling us – “ This is what we call a performance!!”
The drummer Shashank did a great job (with high fever) and the anchors Madhura and Deeksha (12th Sci.) were fantastic…………..

Sports Week Celebration (Nur.-4th EM)

Devashishans celebrate their sports week from 18th Jan’10-20th Jan.’10. Selection of games, allotment of duty,selection of volunteers, making tracks etc.etc. set the “Sports Mood”!! 3 separate days are alloted for ‘Sports’ for Pre-Primary, Std.1/2 and Std.3/4 respectively. Students were given a choice to pick games from 2 categories: A/B. They really loved this freedom of choice which was clearly reflected on their ground…..cause they put in NOTHING LESS THAN THEIR BEST THERE!!!

The Kho-kho team of Devashish hands-down won the first round of tournament at the RH Kapadia School. Check the cheerful faces!! There seems to be no fatigue after such an exhilarating win.
